Three years later, GOLD embarked on a journey through Kanto and Johto, thwarting Rocket Team's resurrection plans and ensuring peace in the region. Their heroic deeds etched into the annals of history ushered in an era of tranquility across the three regions, inspiring a new generation of Pokémon Trainers worldwide.

Among these aspiring trainers is [PLAYER], a youth from Ciudad Verde, inspired by the exploits of these legendary heroes. Determined to follow in their footsteps, [PLAYER] sets out on a journey across the regions, accompanied by fellow rivals, in pursuit of their dream to carve out a legend worthy of their idols. Yet, amidst this golden age, a lurking threat persists...

Despite the absence of Team Rocket sightings, Giovanni, their elusive leader, remains at large, casting a shadow of uncertainty over the peace. With authorities fearing the group's resurgence, a crackdown ensues in Kanto. [PLAYER] finds themselves caught in the midst of escalating tensions, as the police resort to heavy-handed tactics in their quest to quell any remnants of the organization. Forced to navigate moral dilemmas, [PLAYER] must choose between upholding the law or standing with the oppressed, risking the loss of their own path amidst the tumultuous landscape.
